The Trade Association Forum (TAF) annual conference was held last Thursday the 9th of July at Glaziers Hall in London Bridge. The event brought together representatives from a number of sectors, united by their shared passion for their membership base. Guest speakers at the conference shared their insight on the current commercial climate within the United Kingdom, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities that currently face Trade Associations.

As headline sponsor for the event, GGF Training was represented on stage by Managing Director Jon Vanstone.  Jon spoke of the motivation and enthusiasm each individual within the company possesses,“GGF Training is a small collection of like-minded people who are driven to make a difference to those with whom they work… we have come here to engage, to learn from you (and) to meet new people.”

To coincide with the conference, that evening the TAF Best Practice Awards were held at the Shakespeare UnderGlobe. GGF Training had the pleasure of sponsoring the Corporate Social Responsibility award, presented by Development Manager Rebecca Healy to the British Coatings Federation (BCF) in recognition of their Minutes Matter campaign. The ceremony offers members of the Trade Association Forum the opportunity to showcase their achievements over the past twelve to eighteen months. In sponsorship of the awards, GGF Training continues to promote professional development and support the sharing of best practice across all sectors.
